This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the DoughOps service. It is designed to protect DoughOps, our users, and the broader internet community from abusive, illegal, or harmful activities.

By using DoughOps, you agree to comply with this policy. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Harmful Content

  • Host phishing pages or engage in identity theft
  • Store or distribute content that promotes violence or hatred
  • Share content that exploits or harms minors

System Abuse

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or accounts
  • Circumvent security measures or access controls
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks
  • Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization
  • Use automated tools or bots without permission

Misuse of Service

  • Use the Service for purposes other than its intended use (production planning for food businesses)
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Create multiple free trial accounts to avoid payment
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Data Violations

  • Collect personal information of others without consent
  • Violate the privacy or data protection rights of individuals
  • Export data in violation of applicable export control laws
  • Use the Service to process data you don't have rights to process

Responsible Use

We expect all users to:

  • Use strong, unique passwords and protect account credentials
  • Promptly report any security vulnerabilities or breaches
  • Keep contact information current
  • Respect the intellectual property of others
  • Use the Service in good faith for its intended purpose

Resource Limits

To ensure fair use and system stability, we impose reasonable limits on:

Enforcement

We take violations of this AUP seriously. When we become aware of a potential violation, we may:

  2. Warn: Send a warning for minor or first-time violations
  3. Suspend: Temporarily suspend access for serious violations
  4. Terminate: Permanently terminate accounts for severe or repeated violations
  5. Report: Report illegal activity to appropriate authorities

We will attempt to notify you before taking action, except where doing so would:

  • Violate the law
  • Compromise an investigation
  • Put users or systems at risk

Appeals

If your account is suspended or terminated and you believe this was in error, you may appeal by contacting us at legal@doughops.com. Include:

  • Your account email address
  • A description of why you believe the action was incorrect
  • Any relevant evidence

We will review appeals within 5 business days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time to address new issues or comply with legal requirements. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email.
